Jayco's 2020 Range Released
Australia’s largest caravan manufacturer, Jayco, is focusing on innovation with its 2020 product range, announced this month. With Jayco now in its 45th year building RVs, its already seen plenty of evolution in customers’ needs.
As Jayco Australia National Sales Manager, Scott Jones, says, “Innovation continues to be Jayco’s driving force in 2020 and we have focused on three core developments — to improve connectivity, safety and security all achieved by uncompromising comfort and style that Jayco products are known for.
“Connectivity comes in the form of your very own personal assistant – Amazon Alexa – now available in a number of Jayco caravans which was a huge success when Jayco created the world’s-first voice-activated production RV with Jayco’s Silverline 2019 caravan.
“Another key highlight for our 2020 is our ever-expanding Adventure range, which continues to push the boundaries in off-road travel, so anyone can live their best adventure in a Jayco” says Mr Jones.

JAYCO SILVERLINE 2020 SERIES
Focused on comfort and luxury, the Silverline 2020 series is Jayco’s answer for anyone who wants to take the comforts of home with them on the road.
Equipped with voice-activated control, just a few simple requests create the perfect environment for travelling, entertaining or relaxing.
With Amazon Alexa control, the command, “Alexa, turn on my RV” will extend the awning and slide out section as well as turn on your lights so you can ease into your holiday with minimal fuss.
Another noteworthy feature for Silverline 2020 Series is the new front boot with storage capacity of 800 litres.
JAYCO JOURNEY CARAVAN 2020
Australia’s most popular caravan, the Jayco Journey, is also getting the modern treatment, with a voice activated personal assistant integrated to control the lights, TV and other features. This comes on top of the reputation for comfort and toughness that’s already a hallmark of the Journey series.
With 11 different floorplans available in the Journey series, including one with new electric bunks added this year, there should be a version that appeals to any caravanner.
JAYCO STARCRAFT CARAVAN 2020
Another of Jayco’s most popular models is making a comeback this year with the Starcraft series. Jayco sees the Starcraft as the perfect entry level model for first-time caravanners.
The Starcraft boasts a new futuristic look with the exterior aluminium cladding, fully insulated quad-layer walls comprised of internal wall ply and insulation, aluminium frame, external 3 mm ply and external aluminium cladding to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer.
Two 19ft models are available in this refreshed range but what special about the Starcraft is its exceptional value for money.
New features for Jayco Starcraft 2020 range include IBIS 4 Air conditioner, 164 litre fridge with increased cooling capacity, 2-burner cooktop, rear awning, checkerplate panelling and new interior colour tones available in a variety of options.
JAYCO ALL-TERRAIN CARAVAN 2020
Jayco’s toughest off-road caravan is purpose built for Australia’s tough terrain. Jayco argue that strength doesn’t have to come at the expense of comfort. They call the Jayco All-Terrain a premium caravan, “complete with all the trimmings”, but with tough features for heading off the grid.
New in the 2020 model, Jayco’s All-Terrain is now a lighter and more compact single axle design.
