Award-winning parks join Top Parks group
Western Australia’s Kimberleyland Holiday Park and the Nambucca River Tourist Park in New South Wales have joined the recently-rebranded Top Parks group (formerly Top Tourist Parks).
Kimberleyland is in the WA Kimberley town of Kununurra and boasts waterfront views of Lake Kununurra. The park took out the silver medal at the 2015 WA Tourism Awards in the Caravan and Holiday Parks category.
"We’re a destination which is on many people’s wish list and have everything from laundry and bathroom facilities to camp kitchens, cabin air-conditioning, television, wi-fi, barbecues, swimming pool, playground, canoe hire and even a tour desk to book cruises, scenic flights or fishing trips," Kimberleyland Holiday Park manager Lee Irvin said.
Nambucca River Tourist Park, on the popular mid-north coast of New South Wales, has won many tourism awards over the years and offers an appealing waterfront location.
"Our location is spectacular. We’re on the waterfront of the Nambucca River with a private fishing jetty and boat ramp and being near Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour makes the park even more appealing," Nambucca River Tourist Park co-owner Tim Eddy said.
