SA’s Caravan and Camping Show highlighted what we already know: 2010 is shaping up to be an excellent year for caravanning in Australia.

The event, held at the Adelaide Showgrounds this week, hosted more than 200 exhibitors, and by all accounts feedback from the dealers and public was very positive.

During Caravan World’s visit, spectator numbers were encouraging, with up to 40,000 visitors estimated over the show’s five-day run. Attendees enjoyed a seemingly endless array of stands, with caravans, campers and motorhome manufacturers alongside accessory providers and all the latest new releases.

The SA Outdoor Adventure Show ran concurrently, meaning fitness and recreational products could also be sampled.

A show highlight was Dometic launching its Follow the Sun competition, with Olympic gold-medallist Brooke Hanson in attendance.

With so many products on display, relevant experts to talk to and some very appealing show-special prices, the Adelaide show once again proved itself to be a must-attend for both national manufacturers and RVers.
