Caravan World with Motorhome World magazine is giving away six, four-person pass packs to Melbourne Leisurefest, for when the popular RV, boating and camping show returns to Sandown Racecourse, October 1-4, 2009.

The pass packs comprise four adult tickets, each valid for one day, and will enable the winners to see the latest caravans, motorhomes, camping gear, boats, fishing equipment, 4WDs, touring information and accessories.

Patrons who visit the show on Friday, Saturday or Sunday can accompany instructors on a variety of test rides and towing tests, which will include motorhomes, 4WDs, caravans, trailers and boats, as part of the show’s popular 4WD demonstration and RV test program. Four Wheel Drive Victoria and Tow-Ed will supply expert advice to offroad and on-road drivers during the popular test runs.

The offroad test rides will take place on Sandown’s purpose-built offroad training course, complete with steep inclines and declines, challenging road surfaces and water crossings. Vans, trailers, fifth wheelers and boats towed behind a wide selection of tow vehicles of all styles and sizes will also take to the main Sandown road course.

The show is a joint initiative of industry groups the CTIAV, BIAV and VACC, and attracted over 350,000 visitors last year. Parking is free, tickets cost adults $12, pensioners $10. Entry is free to children under 15, who are accompanied by an adult.
