WE HAVE A Freedom Grill to give away -- the ride-outside barbecue that attaches to your towbar, or the A-frame of your caravan.

To enter, we asked readers to reminisce about their favourite barbecue experiences. Here are some that have tickled us so far. The winner will be drawn in March.

Don't forget to enter to win a Freedom Grill, worth $599!

My favourite experience was sitting on the top of one of the 1100 sand dunes on the Simpson Desert BBQing and watching the sun set.

Fishing off Thistle Island, SA, pulling up on the beautiful beach and cooking just-caught King George whiting. Heaven.
H Manuel, SA

On the side of the road just south of Broome in WA. 38 degree heat and flies in the eyes while cooking on the portable BBQ with a cold beer.
B Emery, via email

Winning a meat tray and sharing it with our caravan park friends at Tweed Heads at a combined BBQ. Steak, seafood, pork and chicken.
C Kane, VIC

The BBQ lamb chops and pork sausages always seem to taste better out in the bush with the quarter inch plate over the open fire.
