Field notes: Snakes alive
Camper Trailer Australia wildlife encounters in Cape York
Everything gets bigger the closer you get to the equator, judging by the size of this python photographed in Picaninny Plains station with Camper Trailer Australia editor Carlisle Rogers, Stuart Jones and son Lucas (left to right).
Carlisle leads a team of 4WD enthusiasts who are storming their way up to Cape York, with 15 camper trailers in tow.
"We caught a fresh water crocodile. I kept it in my trailer tent overnight so we could show the rest of the crew in the morning."
