Experience a multicultural mix of entertainment, cuisine and arts as well as the all-important camel races. A variety of free camping is available.
There is lots of entertainment available at this event. There will be 6 camel races on Saturday and another 6 on Sunday. Live music, multicultural shows, variety of food stalls, Indian Bollywood fun, chainsaw sculpting and even helicopter rides!

Trade in the earth’s treasures with gems, jewellery, crystals, minerals and fossils up for grabs or try your hand at panning for your own, plus private collection viewings and street entertainment.
Gemfest has first occured in 1988. You will meet local sapphires, and other worthy visitors such as diamonds, pearls, zircons, opals, gold and others.
You will have an opportunity to enter many great competitions and raffles, so bring your best luck to the festival!
