Over 1000 readers helped us whittle our top 40 list of locations to 10 for Caravan World's Touring Destination of the Year 2010, with just under a third nominating Cairns as one of their top five favourites.

Australia's northern destinations fared best, with Cairns, Alice Springs, Darwin and Broome receiving the highest number of votes.

In the next seven months, Caravan World will visit the 10 top highest polling destinations (highlighted in yellow below) to crown Caravan World's Touring Destination of the Year 2010.
